In this first module, the course and practice are presented. In this course, you will learn how a Yoga Nidra practice is structured, what is the meaning of this structure, how we can combine the different elements to make a Yoga Nidra practice, what use we can make of Nidra practices, what is its purpose, and delve deeper into the benefits, the effects, of this very deep relaxation practice. The Sankalpa is an affirmative resolution that is mentally repeated three times at the beginning and end of Yoga Nidra. It has to be a short and positive phrase; you have to repeat it mentally, feel it, and visualize it. In the rotation of consciousness, all parts of the body are systematically reviewed in the mind. It is a journey of the consciousness through the body that is carried out in a fluid way without stopping, following a specific order. In this phase, attempts are made to evoke and experience opposite sensations and feelings, stimulating the brain centers that regulate their activity. Visualization techniques allow uncovering the contents, stored in the subconscious and unconscious, that normally show up in dreams. The recognition and release of this material that is voluntarily induced as we create a conscious dream awakens and clear the consciousness. The role of the instructor in the practice of Yoga Nidra. The use of voice and silence. The different moments of the practice. Some final questions and recording of a practice by the student. This module is dedicated to the work documentation (training dossier and templates) and to the pre-recorded Yoga Nidra sessions.
